Michael Thornton
Profile: Michael is an English lecturer and also the coordinator of English lecturers in stage one. He originally comes from West Yorkshire in the U.K. He graduated with a BA in Economics and Politics from the University of York in 2011 and completed an MSc in Applied Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh in 2019. He also holds CELTA and DipTESOL teaching certificates and is trained as an IELTS speaking and writing examiner. Michael has been working in Beijing since 2014 as a teacher, academic manager, and IELTS examiner.
